1. Do I have to pay to play War of Legends?

You do not have to pay to enjoy War of Legends. Some players choose to buy items to boost their progress but by no means is this forced upon you.

2. What is a micro-transaction?

The word micro transaction means "small transaction". We use this name because the items bought in War of Legends only cost a small amount to purchase compared to a monthly subscription based game.

3. What is WoLCash?

WoLCash is electronic currency which can be used to buy items in War of Legends. You use real life money to purchase WolCash which you then exchange for items of your choice in the game.

4. How do I spend my WoLCash?

You can spend your WolCash in game by visiting the shop from within the War of Legends game.

5. What can I buy with my WoLCash?

There are many different items which you can buy which have unique benefits. For a full list of the items and what benefits they provide, see the shop within the game.

6. What are the benefits of buying items?

The benefits you gain depend on the items you buy. For example some items can reduce the time needed for research or construction; others may give a temporary boost to resource generation. You should think about how you want to play the game and buy items with benefits that support this style of play. For example, you may want to construct buildings really quickly, in which case an item with a construction time benefit would be good for you.

7. How much do I need to spend to complete the game?

You do not need to spend any money to complete the game. Items can be purchased if you wish to progress faster, however.

8. Is there a limit on the amount I can spend?

We do have limits in place to stop players buying too much WoLCash, but a normal player is unlikely to reach these limits. The limits are based over a certain period of time so you will always be able to purchase more WolCash later on if you reach your limit for a specific time period.

9. Can I trade RuneScape or FunOrb membership into WoLCash? Or vice versa?

We do not offer a trading system or a way for you to transfer your membership credit for WolCash. All WolCash must be purchased separately.

10. Can I subscribe to a monthly subscription?

You do not need to subscribe to the game - War of Legends is micro-transaction based and so there is no subscription needed. You may however, setup a recurring payment to top-up your WolCash a certain amount each month.

11. Are you planning to launch more payment methods in future?

Don't worry; we do plan to launch other payment methods in the near future.

12. How long does it take to add WoLCash?

The length of time taken to apply your WolCash varies but will usually be instant. With certain payment methods, such as PayPal e-cheques, the process may take longer. Don't worry; your WolCash will be applied as soon as we receive payment.

13. Can I have a package subscription with RuneScape and FunOrb?

As players may choose to pay for War of Legends very differently than RuneScape and FunOrb, it is not possible to buy a package subscription for all three games.

14. Will there be micro-transactions in RuneScape and/or FunOrb?

We do not plan on introducing micro-transactions to RuneScape or FunOrb at this point in time.

15. Why do I have to pay so much?

We price all items within War of Legends based on the bonus that they give. We believe this is the fairest way for pricing.

16. Why do people with more money have an advantage?

We provide items so that those players who wish to progress more quickly can, the only advantage in this is the speed that they can complete the game.

17. Will I need to create a new account for War of Legends?

You do not need to make a new account to play War of Legends; you can use your existing RuneScape or FunOrb account to play.

18. My account was banned from RuneScape - can I use it for War of Legends?

Offences made in any Jagex games have an effect on the account itself; accounts are not just "banned"/"muted" in RuneScape - they are "banned"/"muted" from all Jagex games. A currently banned account will not be able to play War of Legends.

19. What is the risk of being scammed?

There will always be a minority who wish to cause trouble in game, and may find ways to persuade others to take actions which hamper their progress. Unfortunately this cannot be helped. Be a savvy player and make your own mind up after hearing any advice/information. Always check the item's description to see if it will benefit your style of play before purchasing.

20. I have been hijacked - can I have my items back?

Unfortunately we are unable to return any items that have been lost or refund any WolCash due to another player logging into your account. You can stop this from happening again by following our security information.

21. Can I have a refund for items purchased and used by a hijacker?

22. How do I pay back my negative WoLCash?

Unfortunately we have no method for the repayment of negative WolCash at this moment in time. We are looking into an alternative to allow this, however, so soon you will be able to do this. If you wish to discuss this further please contact the Billing Team at billingsupport@jagex.com

23. I have been charged more for an item than I should have been?

All prices are correct in the game but if you believe that a mistake has been made somewhere, please contact the Billing Team at billingsupport@jagex.com

27. Will there be special offers for items?

There are always special offers going on, check the in game shop "Offer" tab to keep up to date with the latest deals.

28. Can we give a player items back that they have lost through hijacking?

29. What happens to the account when a player reaches the spending limit?

When you reach the WolCash limit you are no longer able to top up your account with more WolCash. This does not affect your game and you can continue to play as normal. The limit will not stop you from spending any WolCash you currently have on your account.

30. If a player has an active subscription to RuneScape and FunOrb already, what happens to this if they subscribe to War Of Legends?

Any subscription based game (RuneScape and FunOrb) will not be affected by purchases of WolCash as the games work completely differently. If you already have an existing subscription to RuneScape and/or FunOrb, this will not be cancelled or changed by purchasing WolCash.
